GeoEdge Collaborates with AdTechCares Partners Verve Group and Inmobi To Curb Misinformation On Climate Change, Replacing Fallback Ads With Climate Education Creatives
The AdTechCares coalition, comprised of 50 industry partners leverages advertising technology to combat misinformation and benefit humanity. Since its founding over two years ago, AdTechCares has expanded its PSA campaign to include awareness campaigns on global issues- honing in, this quarter on climate change. Founded in 2014, Project Drawdown® seeks to help the world reach “drawdown”—the future state when greenhouse gas levels stop climbing and start declining steadily. Since the 2017 publication of the New York Times bestseller Drawdown, the organization has emerged as a leading resource for information and insight about climate solutions.
GeoEdge Supports AdTechCares With ‘Fallback Ads’
GeoEdge detects malicious and bad ads, verifying that publishers, app developers and platforms always offer a safe and engaging ad experience. Our real time security solutions ensure that all blocked bad ads are replaced with a clean, pre-approved creative – a ‘fallback ad’.
GeoEdge identifies undesirable ads on Verve Group’s exchange and replaces them with pre-approved fallback ads in real-time. Since May 2021, Verve Group has contributed 350 million impressions, accounting for nearly $200,000 worth of inventory. “Thanks to our partners–like GeoEdge, whose technology we use to stop malicious ads from reaching our supply partners–we not only have access to vast inventory pools, but we have more assurance that our messages are being heard” — Iva Parvanova, Verve Group
“Both an abundant future and our industry’s growth depend on the environmental sustainability of our communities worldwide. GeoEdge and our AdTech Cares partners know it’s our responsibility to contribute to the sustainability of those communities.” Amnon Siev, CEO at GeoEdge
Project Drawdown
Project Drawdown is the world’s leading resource for climate solutions. It’s mission is to help the world reach “drawdown”—the point in the future when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline, thereby stopping catastrophic climate change—as quickly, safely, and equitably as possible. For more information, see drawdown.org.
Project Drawdown seeks to shift the climate change conversation towards finding solutions and averting catastrophic climate change. They believe drawdown is possible by 2050 — if not sooner.
