About The Position

Step into the heart of AppHarbr where our ultimate mission is to ensure high quality in-app ads to secure the mobile user experience. AppHarbr ensures that disruptive and intrusive ads don't reach app users with proactive ad quality controls. Real-time ad quality protection equips app publishers with control against disruptive, unwanted, malicious, and offensive ads. Our dynamic team of superior talent are hard at work, not only protecting users from the menace of bad ads but doing so in an atmosphere that resonates with intelligence, creativity, and genuine friendliness.

As our ‘AppHarbr’ Account Director you will actively hunt new prospects and build solid relationships with lead contacts in the AdTech industry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in strategic sales cycles and have a superior industry network, combined with SDK technical expertise. This person will be a key representative at relevant conferences and a fundamental member of the AppHarbr sales team. Your unique contributions will not only shape the success stories of our clients but add fuel to the rocket ship propelling our AppHarbr portfolio.

This role requires a solid understanding of the advertising technology landscape and ecosystem, combined with a deep network of top app studios. Candidates must be highly motivated, extremely organized, team-oriented, creative, and possess outstanding communication and negotiation skills to be the ultimate top seller.

What you will do:

  • Build revenue pipeline by setting introductory meetings with decision makers across target verticals
  • Dig deep into inbound and outbound prospects’ business to understand their pain points and how AppHarbr can help
  • Research and develop new accounts through rigorous outbound calling efforts through email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and events
  • Lead, negotiate and close large-scale deals within a defined account list, custom-tailoring strategic solutions to their business needs
  • Drive high-impact thought leadership, reinforcing AppHarbr’s reputation as an innovator and trusted leader in in-app ad quality & security
  • Define the growth strategy for your portfolio with clear guidance on key client and prospect stakeholders, client/opportunity prioritization
  • Achieve personal quarterly/annual revenue and new business targets, as agreed with the Sales Lead
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting insight


About you:

  • 3+ years in Ad Tech sales, proven top performer with SaaS experience (advantage), and deep knowledge of advertising tech (SDKs, ARPU, LTV, DSPs, SSPs, mediation, and 3rd-party data/verification).
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Confident in presentations and skilled in personalized, effective messaging.
  • Resilient, curious, detail-oriented, goal-driven, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities.
  • Well-connected in top app studios, with a proven ability to align business objectives with compelling value propositions.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and prioritize the sales pipeline, focusing on high-impact opportunities, driving progress, and effectively utilizing internal resources (e.g., leadership, R&D, legal) to close deals.
  • Skilled in closing deals by understanding prospects’ needs, addressing their concerns, and offering tailored solutions to eliminate obstacles and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Familiar with Salesforce.com, highly analytical, and collaborative across departments.
